The historic building dates back to 1884 and boasts a quaint charm with its stylish and elegant interior. It sits in the heart of the picturesque Santa Clara Valley. Preferred for its offsite spaces, which allow us to host all types of celebrations, parties and events – the venue specializes in Italian and Continental dishes served in a modern setting. Conveniently located just a few miles off the San Jose main highway, Mt. Hamilton GrandView offers much more than a fine dining experience. The beautifully restored restaurant sits in a lovely 1884 restaurant with its own private terrace and lower patio and an adjacent cottage available for hire. The rooms of the venue are spacious and flooded with natural light, making them ideal for any social gathering – big or small. Guests can hire the Full Service Bar and Lounge, Dining Hall, private cottage and offsite spaces like terrace and lower patio separately or in different combinations to accommodate their party.
We offer flexible seating arrangements and customizable menus with fresh, seasonal dishes prepared with herbs and vegetables we grow in our own garden. Our offsite spaces offer the perfect setting for entertainment for your event from canapé receptions and mouth-watering breakfasts to indulgent multiple course dinners and banquets with all the trimmings.
